How to predict the Future in Retail Projects?

All shopping and entertainment centres are planned for the future! A new project will not open its doors for at least two to three years into the future. And considering the planning and permission process, the letting, tendering and infrastructure requirements larger shopping centre will need at least three to five years or even more before they can open their doors to the public. Therefore it will be an advantage to have a reasonable vision of what the retail market will be like in 3 to 5 years. Emerging and long-established markets have one thing in common - predicting the future is not easy. But emerging markets have the advantage that they can take benchmarks from those more developed markets.

The presentation will demonstrate why Russia is not different. We will see examples of how the market has developed so far and who predicted it. We will find out what factors will influence the future and what measures developers can take to be prepared. And there will be some predictions that may surprise you. Getting the prediction of the future right is impossible, but being close to it and to be prepared for it will make the difference. And this difference will be many millions and millions of dollars.
